Sinclair of Scalloway marriage



This is taken from a book found in the Library of Congress. I think it
is interesting - but many more years before my Arthur Sinclair of
Scalloway came to America (1754 or so)  Sally

Arthur Sinclair of Scalloway m (1696) Catherine(2) ,  dau Robert of
Chalester & Grizel, dau Rev James Nicholson of Tingwall and d 29 Sep
1744.  Robert belongs to the cadet  Bruce of Simburgh.

Died yesterday, Mr. Daniel Sinclair, his friends and those of Mr. Robert
Sinclair invited to funeral from his residence in Adams Valley, RC, June
13, 1821, p3.

Died at Lands End, residence of Cary S. Jones in Gloucester Co on 13
Sept, Mrs. Margaret Ann Sinclair, wife of John Sinclair, Esq, RW, Sept
26, 1837, p2
He was Capt John Sinclair

Died yesterday, age 48, Mr. Robert Sinclair, a native of Scotland and
for 13 years an inhabitant of this city.  RE, Nov 14, 1829, p3 and RC,
