We now have details of the speakers who will be attending the next Sauniere Society Symposium to be held Saturday February 27th and Sunday 28th 1999 at the Templar Lodge Hotel, Gullane, near Edinburgh, Scotland.
I have posted details on the web page which can be reached via:
We are pleased to see that Henry Lincoln WILL attend, barring flood, tempest, revolution, alien landings etc. Maybe we should add to this list, Head of God being discovered again, Jesus' foreskin... I also note that Dr. Robert Lomas, Picknett & Prince, Nigel Tranter, Ian Campbell and Alan Butler and Stephen Dafoe are schedule to be speaking. I am particularly keen to hear Dr. Gordon Strachan and Ahmed Osman, who I have not heard before. Tickets are 15 (GBP) per day including lunch and coffee. There is also a dinner and open forum on the Saturday evening at 15 (GBP) per person. To book and also for accommodation packages, please see the web page or contact Catherine Ormston on 01620 842275. I hope to see some of you there. Andrew Ormston |
