Re: a few Sinclairs
Hi,
I live close to Santa Clara and I checked on it and the name Santa Clara
came from a mission named Santa Clara after St. Claire of Assisi. The
mission was founded in 1777. Santa Clara mission was the first mission to be
named after a woman. It is the 8th mission built out of 21.
