Hmm, I just did a quick informal survey - my dad, nephew and I have longer 
second toes - we always thought my dad was mostly English (it's my mother's 
side that has the St. Clairs), but then again he is possibly descended from 
Alexander Sinkler.  Will have to check out the rest of the family later.  :)
