Re: "Old Pulteney" Origins - the story behind the Caithness Malt Whisky!

I think this completes the picture.
"Hon. Harry Pulteney
MP. Hedon 1722-34 & 1739-41; Kingston upon Hull 1744-47. Buried in
Westminster Abbey 5 Nov 1767

http://lightinforg.bizland.com/sli/colonels.htm"

The full title of 1st Earl of Bath, William Pulteney is Viscount Pulteney Of
Wrington, Baron Of Hedon, and in 1767, when Harry Pulteney died, Frances
Pulteney inherited the estates that had originally belonged to William
Pulteney who died in 1764, and Viscount William Pulteney was the only son
of William, 1st Earl of Bath died in 1763.
