I have been inundated with birthday greetings this year which may mean
a 'sympathy vote' or a 'goodbye note' but, as I am still hale and hearty, I
intend to be around for a long time yet so, although you may not be far
behind, you are unlikely to catch me up.

True, I tend to 'forget' things but that's simply because I have far too 
much to
do.  At least, that is my excuse.  It's my spectacles and car keys I keep
losing.  It has become quite a joke so, when my car was stolen, I didn't
receive any sympathy.  I was just told: "You've forgotten where you left it"
and that was that.  Everyone carried on with their work.
