Dear Lena

Laurel is referring to St Margaret of Scotland 1045-1093 Her feast day is
November 16th. She was the second wife of King Malcolm III married 1069.
Daughter of one of the last Anglo-Saxon princes, Edward the Atheling, and
was educated in exile in Hungary during the Danish rule in England. She died
in 1093, was buried at Dunfermline and canonised in 1249. Her body with that
of her husband was taken to the Spanish monastery of the Escorial, north of
Madrid, reburied and remains there. The oldest church in Scotland is named
