Margaret is a common name, and there were no doubt many Saints Margaret,
just as there are at least nine Saints Clare, before even counting the
Saints Claire.

The St. Margaret Laurel was referring to was the Queen of Scotland, wife
of King Malcolm III Canmore.  You will find her in the Catholic Encyclopedia
as St. Margaret of Scotland.
