Re: bookstores, etc., in Edinburgh



Thanks to all who responded.

Yes, James Thin has a fine bookstore.  I escaped before I bought more
than I could carry.

The restaurant upstairs at the Museum of Scotland has apparently gone
downhill of late, according to some locals.

The Witchery is definitely worthwhile.  They didn't even throw us out
for laughing too hard at our own jokes, and the food is first rate.

We'll try some of the other restaurant suggestions.

Offline for the weekend now to go to Roslin.
