Irish Sinclairs
Thought I'd pass on the following from Brian Mitchell, Irish Passenger
Lists 1847-1871: Lists of Passengers Sailing from Londonderry to America
on Ships of the J. & J. Cooke Line and the McCorkell Line (Baltimore:
Genealogical Publishing Co., Inc., 1988).

Nancy Sinclair, age 9 from Coleraine District, County Derry, and James
Sinclair, age 7, sailed on the “Venice” to Philadelphia in 1847.

Ellen Ann Sinclair, no age or place of residence given, sailed on the “Lord
Maidstone” to St. John in 1848.

Mary Jane Sinclair, no age given, from Ballymoney, County Antrim, and John
Sinclair, age 1, sailed on the “Envoy” to Quebec in 1853.

Margaret Sinclair, age 45, from Coleraine, County Derry; Ann Sinclair,
age 19, and Hugh Sinclair age 14, sailed on the “Elizabeth” to Philadelphia
in 1857.
These were all on the J. & J. Cooke Line.
