The much hated by Liberals American President Regan did a great deal for
racial equality in America when he opposed the silliness of affirmative
action programs and viewed all Americans as Americans.
The glory of our ancestors is theirs alone, and so are their sins. We owe
them life we do not owe them an adoption of their views. , I will live only
in a country where civil liberty, tolerance and equality of all citizens
before the law are the rule not the exception. Britain has crept into this
century by shedding the iniquity of class and demanding the recognising of
achievement. Do not tell me who your father was tell me who you are.
