My family descends from James Sinclair born abt. 1799 in Orkney.  I don't 
have a known connection to William the Elder.  I do however have several 
Williams, the oldest(born Nov. 16, 1825 South Ronaldsay, Orkney) being a 
brother to my James.  Sorry for any confusion.               Marilyn
