should have added that the Mountain Ash of the western part of North America
is the Sorbus sitchensis. It is also not a true ash nor it is a Rowan tree.
The Rowan tree is also known as Sorbus aucuparia - Rowan, Gaelic Caorunn,
Welsh Cerddin and Irish Caorthann.

The Natural Distribution is Commonest West and North of Britain but native
throughout Britain and Ireland. Also Europe, North  Africa and Asia Minor.
