Has no one answered this? I have been out of town on business.
" Who was burried in Grant's tomb?" is an old trick question. Here I assume
that you are asking why this site was chosen. Rosslyn was the St. Clair
estate long before the chapel was built, according to some sources, WIlliam
the Seemly was granted lands at Roslin by King Malcolm.
