Ian, see www.caithness.org and use the search engine for Brimms. There is an excellent link to Brimms Family History origionally written by a Brimms grandfather around 1900. The text has been painstakingly retyped and posted by his grandaughter, Alicia. The text explains the common ties of the Brimms family to the Sinclairs. There are also quite good pictures of the Brimms Castle. You are about to read a great article.
