Hawawiian message

I don't understand the problems with this message from our new member from
Hawaii.
I see that when I sent a reply through the discussion group that my message
was not there and the same problem with their message being in the subject
line was all that was visible.
     I also sent a private message to him/her with a new subject line but
again my message was missing and the old subject line message was
reappeared???
