Robert Sinclair Priate?

Robert Sinclair, Captain of the good ship 'Providence of Boston' from
Amsterdam, Newcastle bound for Madeira and Boston was taken on the open seas
in April 1746.  Cargo Gunpowder, arms, cordage hidden under china and other
trade goods.  Crime suspected of French trade, Piracy.
