Back to the Templars!

Thanks for an interesting posting Jerry! The contemporary description of the
Templars is resonant of the traditions of my Regiment, The Royal Scots who
are the bearers of Scotland's ancient military tradition. They have their
origins in the French Scots Guard, who Niven advises were often commanded by
Sinclairs (as The Royals were again in the 18th Century). Our Regimental
collect includes "So may The Royal Scots be the first to follow Thee and the
last to forsake Thee,"
First and Last, in the Templar tradition.

Yours aye

Iain
