   In 1292: John refuses,
   [2]Earl of Caithness refused to sit in Parliament under Balliol
   
   In 1306: Bruce murders Comyn, Robert Bruce murders his rival Comyn in
   a church at Dumfries.
   
   In 1567: Darnley murdered, Henry Stuart, Lord Darnley, husband of Mary
   Queen of Scots, father of the future King James VI, is murdered.
