General Arthur St Clair

It is interesting to note that General Arthur St Clair served with General
Wolfe in Canada. Wolfe was the Duke of Cumberland's ADC at Culloden. Also
at Culloden was St Clair's Regiment - my Royal Scots - named after their
Colonel (1737-1762), the Hon James St Clair (of Rosslyn).

(incidentally, my wife is descended from Wolfe's sister)

Yours aye

Iain
