Dear Gord; such is the plight of rather poor teaching of history in both
Canada and America. But factually Chris is not believed to have ever reached
the mainland, and Lief did also make it past Greenland. The real issue under
lies this in my perspective, that is the social and developmental historical
perspective that is focused on the growth of knowledge and the spread of
