Sinclair Genealogy list

Greeting all,

I would like to use this list for a brief announcement and clarification.

The Sinclair Genealogy list now has approximately 100 members.  Although it
is quiet at times, the archives is available to members for search.

Now the clarification part.

The list is a closed list.  This means all members must be approved by the
list owner.  The main reason someone may NOT be approved is not specifying
any information on a member profile with E Groups.  The reason for this is
to prevent spammers from joining the list, gathering information, and
leaving.

The Member profiles are NOT available for viewing to anyone but the List
owner/moderator and are requested only to protect all on the list.

Anyone interested in joining the list is welcome as long as the profile is
filled out.
