This is just an idea thrown out to see your reaction or meeting of the minds.  As we technicaly own two suits of armour burried in Rosslyn Chapel, could it be considered that we recover these suits and see if they are still in good enough shape for display?

 There are many more than two suits of armour in Rosslyn Chapel where, it is said:

                        "There are twenty of Roslin's barons bold
                          Lie buried in that proud chapelle;
                          Each baron, for a sable shroud,
                          Sheathed in his iron panoply".

However, it is not our intention to disturb the glorious dead in order to display their armour.
There are museums where such things can be seen without desecrating the sacred tombs
of our illustrious ancestors.
