The November issue of "Travel & Leisure" magazine lists the 100 most
endangered sites of 2002. Included is Sinclair/Girnigoe Castles. A great
achievement by our Chief and the Trust to preserve the castles for future
Sinclairs to see and touch. It's quite a feeling to stand in the old
courtyard, feeling the sea breezes, and watching the birds encircle. It's a
powerfully quiet place.
