Dear Mrs Siperek I found this explanation on KEVIN DUERINCK GENEALOGY PAGE RELATIONSHIP CHART (CONSANGUINITY) Great Great Great Great Grandchild and the Grandchild of a Common Ancestor not in the same line are stated to be first cousins 4 removed. Who was the common ancestor? Snce de Clare is stated to be the second cousin to Robert the Bruce what if any is the relation to Thomas Seyntclare (Saint Clare) and when does Saint Clare become Sinclair or St Clair? I am allways confused by genealogy. Thank you for any help you can give.
