   1592:  Altars  of  Rosslyn destroyed, George Ramsay reported that 'the
   altars  of  Roslene  were  haille  demolishit'.  From  that  time  the
   [3]Chapel  ceased  to  be used as a house of prayer and soon fell into
   disrepair.
