said that the Sinclairs "were almost slavish in keeping to the Stuart
Kings and to their Roman Catholic faith (I take it after other nobles
and families were adopting the Protestant faiths (covenantor and
epsicopal) Oliver Sinclair himself is of the Lords Sinclair and his
