``Blueprint boost for historic castles
``A BLUEPRINT for a multi-million-pound project to preserve the historic
Sinclair and Girnigoe castles on the outskirts of Wick should be ready
by the end of the year, it emerged this week.
``The Earl of Caithness, who donated the castles to the Clan Sinclair Trust,
confirmed that work on a conservation plan, costing almost £80,000,
is expected to start on Monday, August 19, and be completed in four
months' time.''
