Hi!
Can anyone tell me why William Shakespears in his play "Macbeth"
portrayed Macbeth as a bad king? Was there a political reason? Did the
English government want him to do this? I understand that he had to "modify"
history in some of his other plays to please Queen Elizabeth I.
