Sinclairs from around the world might want to take notice of the ties, both
historical, and living with the Queen Mother. Many will know that the Queen
Mother gave her good name and reputation to stand behind the Sinclair Trust
to restore our sites in Caithness, and that she herself restored the Castle
of Mey. Our clan chief when describing the relationship in 2000 in Toronto
commented on his own friendship with the Queen 'Mum', her sincere support to
the Sinclair heritage and her quick wit and solid grace.
So perhaps in a different way those of us connected around the world have
lost a unique connection with a supporter of our clan and pass on our
sympathies through our Clan Chief with a salute.
