As best I can determine, my SINCLAIRs took the following route to Texas: Caithness, Scotland--Ohio--Michigan--Texas After the Civil War, my great-grandfather, Col. William H. SINCLAIR moved from MI to TX, and brought family with him. He fought for the North. My other great-grandfather fought for the South. When my mother met my father in Galveston (they were teenagers), she would tease him by calling him a "carpet bagger." :-) Adrian ----- Original Message ----- From: "Carter, Judy G (Judy)" <jhouck@avaya.com> To: <sinclair@quarterman.org> Sent: Wednesday, March 27, 2002 10:27 AM Subject: FW: My web page > > Adrian > > My line is from Alexander who came to Virginia in 1698 > [ Excess quotations omitted. ] [ This is the Sinclair family discussion list, sinclair@quarterman.org [ To get off or on the list, see http://sinclair.quarterman.org/list.html
