Seeking information regarding the birthplace and parents of Joseph Kirk ST.
CLAIR. He was born in 1819, probably in Ohio. Married Agnes Vanderslice in
Hartstown, Crawford County, PA 29 Dec 1863. Joseph Kirk St. Clair died in
1864. He was a tailor. He was a burgess at Hartstown and was called "Col"
and "Gen" in the local newspaper in 1864, but there is no record of service in
Crawford County military Records.
