I corresponded at times with Kermit off the list and found him to be a very enjoyable correspondent.

May The force Be With You Kermit
while you rest in peace with our ancestors.

I wish I had said it first.

I'm very sorry to hear of the passing of Ian Patrick St. Clare. Although most of us haven't met, we do share a kinship and heritage. The previous measage to Kermit spoke of being now with his ancestors. He will be able to fill in his family tree completely. It reminds me of a poem I found while tracing another family line.

If you could meet your ancestors all standing in a row,
there might be some of them you wouldn't care to know.

But there's another point that requires a different view, if you could meet your ancestors would they be proud of you?

Hi

I`d just like to wish all on the list a good time no-matter what you are celebrating at this time of year, Solstice [belatedly] Ramadan, Christmas and/or new year [sorry if I left any out]

As we are all interested in the past with genealogy, let us all hope for a future where ALL are equal & LOVE of our fellow humans reigns over the whole word.

Peace & Love to ALL

Kermit.

Dear John,

Yes, please do announce it to the list.

We, (hubby and I), would like to collect Kermits meanderings and writings to present to his parents, we have found his contributions to the list thru the archive. I hope we are not infringing any copyright or the like - if we need permission could u point us in the right direction please. Hubby has put a memorial on http://communities.msn.co.uk/TheForestOfTheGnome (link page 'bye my dear friend') with a somewhat old (and bad) photograph of Kermit. If any members of your list wish to put a face to Kermit please tell them that they now can - he was an elusive person much happier behind a camera than in front of it !!

Thank you,
Julia
