Always a pleasure to read what you are up to.
The St. Clair Erskines are Sinclairs through the female line which in Canada
is as good as the male line but that came about only because our Heraldic
Authority came into being circa 1980.   So my sister can inherit my father's
Arms of right but could not,  I believe,  in the U.K.
