Chapel news

When you first get to this site, don't let the fact that it's Whitley
Streiber's site throw you for a loop. If you know who he is, you probably
have an opinion about him, but don't let that keep you from reading this
one. This is just a straight news item; the first two paragraphs below.

Mystery of the Rosslyn Cubes

The 213 cube symbols carved into the stone ceiling of Rosslyn Chapel in
Scotland, built by the Knights Templar in 1477, remain a mystery. Some
people believe they’re a kind of musical notation system that records a
melody of great spiritual significance to the Templars.

Now a Matsushita of Japan, which owns Panasonic, is trying to decode the
symbols, hoping to develop a line of relaxation products using vibrations
from the sounds. Eight scientists and music specialists from around the
world are trying to understand the relationship between the symbols, which
look like a series of lines and dots, and musical notes.
