Re: St. Clair -Knox-Wayne-Wedderburn

Arthur St Clair was not only famous in the American Rebellion but in the
formation of The United States. It is during his presidency under the
Articles of Confederation the Constitution was introduced to settle a
problem between Maryland and Virginia. Not bad for a Scot's immigrant.

St Clair's defeat by the great warrior Little Turtle's equally sized army
was a result of poor training and poor intelligence. It is very difficult
to defeat a dedicated patriot fighting for his homeland. We learned the
lesson in America, the French learned it in Indochina. Reality sometimes
bites and doesn't let go
