I just received my Eastman's Online Genealogy Newsletter,  which had the following article:

The Scottish Archive Network (SCAN) now has a complete index to all the registers of Scottish wills, which is available free of
charge on their Web site. Digital images of the wills are being made available for purchase. The digitization project is underway
now and is due for completion in early 2003.
