Sinclair and Girnigoe Visitor Centre.
The New visitor centre at Noss Head Lighthouse was awarded £10,000 by the 
council.  This is part of the £90,000 required but the council recognised the 
potential of the centre for visitors to the county.  The centre has its own 
accommodation and visitors can stay at the centre and are especially welcome 
if they are looking to research the castles or look at many of the increasing 
number of books that are arriving as they build a library of books – 
especially on Sinclairs, clan history, Scottish history and a range of other 
related topics.
