One connection I forgot to put into my last post. Crinan MacDonachadh and Bethoc had at least 2 sons. One, Maldred, I mentioned earlier as father to Gospatric. The other son was Duncan, made famous in a play. He, naturally was the father of Malcolm. So William would be married quite possibly to a close cousin of the King. Take care, Kevin
