I applaud John Quatermain's considered and reasonable statements. Just
punishment will chastise the perpetrators, not the innocent, Giving aid to
the deprived will not only fulfil spiritual duties but will also go a long
way to cure the underlying perceptions and tensions which spawn terrorism in
the first place. His analogy of WW2 and the Marshall Plan is highly
appropriate.
