Re: Tartan Day Coverage in British newspapers

Re-posting, in case this was the message you were looking for, and if so, I
am British or Scots, but definitely not English! However, the papers have
moved on now, but there may be some archive references.

The Scotsman (published in Edinburgh) http://www.scotsman.com/ has "Tartan
Day" in its banner today, and coverage of the meetings in Washington
yesterday. They have cheekily replaced the Stars in the national flag with
Thistles! It is also covered in The Herald http://www.theherald.co.uk/
(published in Glasgow) also covers the meetings and ceremonies as part of
"Tartan Week". (A week now is it?)

Yours aye

Iain
