    My family's ancestry comes very close to that sent to you from Jim
St.Clair in Nova Scotia. Our family records show the following::

George, 4th Earl of Caithness

  John, Master of Caithness

    James, 1st of Murkle

      John, 1st of Assery

        James, 2nd if Assery

          James, Merchant of Thurso

            James of Thurso, Ireland, and Wheatfield township, PA

              James St.Clair, Wheatfield township, PA (1741-1806)

                James St.Clair, White township, PA (1774-1855)
                 married Jennie Slemmons of Indiana county PA

                   John St.Clair, White township, PA (1818-1900)
                   his older brother was James St.Clair (1890-1891) who
                   married Margaret Sara Mitchell in 1832 by Rev. Berrets
                   in Brushvalley township, Indiana county, PA.

John St.Clair was my great-grandfather.
