I have a book autographed by the author entitled 'The Siege of Fort Cumberland
1776 - An Episode in the American Revolution'. It was written by Ernest Clarke,
architect, town planner and independent historian.

I attended a reenactment of the story in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia in 1996. I find
no reference to Braddock or to Sir John St. Clair in the book. The story,
however, is fascinating. McGill-Queen's University Press 1995 ISBN
0-7735-1323-X .

I will attempt to locate the author and inquire about the absence of reference
to Braddock & St. Clair referring him to your comment.

Would like to hear from you.

Neil St.Clair
