   In 1881: Apse added to Rosslyn Chapel, Francis Robert, 4th Earl of
   Rosslyn, [3]added the apse to serve as a baptistry with an organ loft
   above. On this date he writes to his architect Andrew Kerr, `I must
   say that the author pronounces your building a complete success.'
