Red mark on Rennes-le-Château's back wall

Dear friends,
I am still searching to find the reference I am looking for concerning the
horizontal red (pale) paint mark I did see on Rennes-Le-Châyteau's chapel
wall, which, if I am correct, would indicate the presence in the adjoining
cemetery of a buried royal person. Today I received an answer the Saunière
Society:

« Dear Francine

>From the start it was suggested that the burial ground or crypt contained
one or more persons of "royal" blood. As you are familiar with the story
you will know that it was thought that Sauniere found the directions to such
a grave.

Regards

John Millar, Sauniere Society»

We still have to find precise documentation to support this.
