   to Wenatchee Wash.

     A couple of years ago I went to a museum in Wenatchee, WA and saw a
display on these two men who made this flight.   The contest was sponsored
by a Texas millionaire who stipulated that the flight had to end in Texas in
order to receive the reward but these men chose to glorify WA instead and
didn't get the reward.
