Yes, if you visit a certain kilt maker in Edinburgh, he will ask: "Where is
your
Sinclair mole" and, when I made enquiries with other Sinclairs, most of them
had moles - not the strawberry kind but small brown blemishes - like an
enlarged
freckle.
My own army paybook made a note of such a blemish on my upper left thigh
(for identifcation purposes in the event of being blown to smithereens) but, on
being told about the kilt-maker's observations, I rushed to check if it was
still there.
Alas, it had mysteriously disappeared. I was distraught. My Sinclair
credentials
had vanished.
Francine? I wonder? Have you started a mole hunt?
