So are many Sinclair/Sinklers in USA descended directly from
Charlemagne and many other Kings of France and England. This comes
about through the marriage of Richard Sinkler b. 1731 New Market, NH to Polly
Cilley. Richard's line goes back through John Sinkler of Exeter, NH
to the Earls of Caithness.
But it is Polly's line we follow to Charlemagne: Joseph
Cilley her father; his father, Thomas Seally m. Ann Stanyon. Ann was the
child of John Stanyon and Mary Bradbury m. 1663. Mary's parents were
Capt Thomas Bradbury b. Feb. 1610/11 in Eng. and Mary Perkins.
80+ year old Mary Perkins Bradbury was a convicted witch in Salem, MA but
managed to make it through the last year of the hysteria as a prisoner and lived
out her life naturally.
So it was Capt. Thomas Bradbury's line that leads back
eventually to Charlemagne.
Charlemagne has millions of descendants I think.
