The expert on Sinclairs with some African descent is the genealogist, Nick
Cram-Sinclair. He himself is a black Jamaican Sinclair and he descends from
an Edinburgh solicitor who went there in the eighteenth century to run a
plantation. I don't think he's on the list but you can e-mail him direct at
