In 1997 Laura Zola, the intrepid Italian yachtswoman, was forced by bad weather to take
her yacht into Kirkwall in Orkney and there, by chance, she read an article about Prince
Henry Sinclair to the New World in 1398. This was an article which appeared following
the Sinclair Symposium
